About
I am a senior operations executive with 17+ years of building high-performing teams across financial services and consumer technology. At Capital One, I held roles spanning instructional design, offshore operations management, quality framework redesign, enterprise risk and analytics, and regulatory complaints — finishing as Sr. Director over a 185-person organization accountable to the CFPB, OCC, and state Attorneys General. At SimpliSafe, I applied that same enterprise rigor to a startup-scale environment, delivering a 40% reduction in cost per subscriber and enabling 70%+ subscriber growth on a reduced staffing footprint. I am known for walking into complexity and leaving behind something that works — regardless of industry. My teams don’t just perform — they thrive. At SimpliSafe, I turned a 59% engagement score into 82% through psychological safety, radical transparency, and a closed-loop feedback culture where people knew their voices changed things. A self-described extreme extrovert, I thrive in cross-functional environments: my partnerships with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering at SimpliSafe produced measurable reductions in avoidable contacts, more efficient tooling, and product design shaped by operational reality. I build relationships that outlast org charts — and I treat that instinct as a competitive advantage. Outside of operations, I write, illustrate, bake, & create — I've self-published two children's books, and I bring a warm, plain-spoken voice to everything from board memos to blog posts. This summer I also taught myself to build software: two apps born out of real household problems, one of which has already grown past my own family to other users. I'm currently exploring how much further that "builder" instinct extends into AI-enabled operations work — the same muscle I used to take NLP-based monitoring from 2% to 94% coverage at Capital One.
